Do you want to experience what it’s like to have dementia?

A better understanding of the perspective of someone living with dementia is essential for providing person centered care. We developed this platform with the intention to support professionals working in dementia care to learn more about self-experience and how the self-experience approach may help to provide better care and learn from experiences from other professionals. The dementia simulation toolkit is central to this, which was developed through literature research and practical research based on the principles of co-design. This toolkit comprises many scenarios that can be used in training sessions to try to simulate symptoms experienced by people living with dementia.
